It’s officially 2012 — and it’s that time of year for new resolutions, a fresh outlook on the world, and the energy and optimism to attack each day with renewed resolve.
This year, we’re doing the same thing here at MurphyUSA — we’re refreshing our look, dropping some weight, eating better, and even going to learn a new language this year. (We’re also bringing in new folks, new ideas, and new ways of doing things to refuel our commitment to you, our customers — more about this in the coming weeks.)
We’re refocusing on who MurphyUSA is – and who our customers are – and all the magic that happens between you and us. We want to empower our customers to make the best decisions possible, not only for your wallet, but for your overall well-being. We want to be there on those super great days to reward you for a great job you’ve done; we want to be there those not as good days when you need a refreshing pick-me-up. And most of all, we want you to know – always – that we respect and admire our customers. We’ve been totally amazed in the past several months by the smart, honest, and genuine feedback we’ve received from you — keep it coming! You’ll soon get to meet the team who powers our blog, and you’ll soon get to meet the vibrant community of MurphyUSA superfans who drive us to be a better company.
Over the next few months, you’ll begin to see BIG changes happening across all of MurphyUSA, such as:
- More artwork and designs like the one above, including our new Mighty Murphy mascot;
- A brand new blog and community dedicated to smarter, value-driven lifestyles just like yours [we're calling it TheSmarterDriver.com - and we'll let you know when the switch is about to happen];
- An updated iPhone & Android app with a whole lot more functionality;
- A bunch of new rewards programs, like our Murphy Mayor program for Foursquare, our Highway Heroes program for gas discounts, free merchandise, and a revamped Value Alerts email and SMS program for your favorite candy, drinks, and snacks;
- A brand new website & online store for MurphyUSA.com and updated mobile version of MurphyUSA.com, built especially for finding the best deals on gas & merchandise [we're super excited about this!]
- Much, much more that I can’t reveal quite yet…but soon, we promise!
And, most importantly, you’ll get to put faces to names here at MurphyUSA.
